1st Meeting

Sat 4/8 UPDATE: Weather is looking good for tomorrow...looks like we're on!

If you are driving, best entrance is from Bellevue Ave where you can park in the 1st lot which is right near the swings/playground.

It looks like the moms have spoken...

Our 1st meeting will be on Sunday, April 9th at 10am
Brookdale Park, by the baby swings

If the weather is inclement, stay tuned, we will pick an alternate location (Orange Kangaroo on Bloomfield Ave was mentioned too).

So happy that people were enthusiastic enough to get this rolling. Hope you can join us!

See you there, Sandy

Mommy Q's

Anyone who has questions/needs help/advice about being a mother in Montclair, please post below.

Laura asked:

[I have a daughter who will be two in a few weeks. Anyone know of any good evening Gymboree-like classes for toddlers? The Montclair Gymboree always cancels the evening sessions due to lack of interest!]

Share Some Info

Tell us about your kids...thanks Lisa, for this idea.

I have a son, Alex, who is 8 months old. Pics are online if anyone wants to take a look...that is, if you aren't already maxxed out on baby pics!

Let's Make a Date

Hello,

Thanks to everyone who responded to my post on Baristanet. Over the past few days, I've received so many emails from other working moms who would like to meet on a weekend somewhere either free or low-cost.

I love the idea of meeting at a Montclair park, but weather may be an issue. I'm relatively new to Montclair and would welcome ideas about where to meet, what time, and what date/day of the week. Personally, I can only do Saturdays or Sundays, not weekdays at all, but I'm pretty flexible about times on the weekends. Anyplace other than a park should be a destination where we can bring young ones & strollers along without hassle.

Any suggestions?

Please post below and we'll arrange a date when a majority of us can meet.

Although this started as a group for Moms who work, I certainly don't want to exclude the stay-at-home mothers who may also want to come along--you are also welcome.

I started some separate threads for other Mommy topics...
